WELLNESS COACHING AND WEIGHT LOSS
I provide my clients with the motivation and tools to find wellness in life. This means, finding the comfort in your own body, the weight you want to achieve, the energy you want to have, the activities you want to perform and the education you need to understand your body and take care of it.
I can help you to take care of your overall health, which includes cellular nutrition, mindset, and the motivation to make sustainable changes that last and to help you to age “well”. My focus is to support women in their 40’s and 50’s going through Peri-Menopause and Menopause, regardless of their fitness levels or nutrition knowledge, who want to unleash their healthier and stronger self but are struggling to find the time or motivation to do so.
If you want to feel different and discover what the best options are for you, it is time to talk.
PILATES
Designed by Joseph Pilates, "Pilates is a method for properly connect with the deep function of the muscles, supporting better posture and ease of movement in our daily life."
When I discovered Pilates I was suffering from back pain and lack of deep muscle strength. After few sessions, I realized that Pilates offers more than movement. Pilates teaches various breathing techniques to enhance relaxation, lower blood pressure, and to activate specific muscles that help improve posture. As my client, you will realize that this method is not just about great posture and a rock-hard abdominal. It is more than just a physical exercise, because it will improve your mental, emotional and spiritual well being as well.
FASCIAL STRETCH THERAPY
FST is one of my favorite techniques. It is based on the unique connection between the practitioner and the client. Fascial stretch therapy improves the mobility of your nerves & the flexibility of your muscles and fascia
Normally done on a massage table, this pain-free and global approach to stretch, focuses on the decompression of an individual's joint, which forces an almost immediate relaxation of the surrounding muscles. The health and function of all joints and muscles are the direct result of properly condition the fascia.
How does FST differ from Massage Therapy?
FST is different from massage therapy since there is more motion and participation from the client during the treatment. There is movement involved and more active stretch.
ELDOA
The ELDOA technique is a series of revolutionary exercises created by french osteopath Dr Guy Voyer.
ELDOAS are poses designed to decompress the tension around the spine, hips and shoulders by creating fascial tautness to achieve balance and strength through the body. You can relief back pain, muscles soreness and create re-alignment of muscles and strength
When you try your first ELDOA session you will feel lighter, with a more elongated spine and easy articulation throughout your body.
With ELDOA you can be your own chiropractor.
